JD Bowman- Lead Pastor

I grew up in Tennessee, and my beautiful best friend for life, Kelly, grew up in Wisconsin. Kelly and I met at Moody Bible Institute where I was a student, and we were married after graduating in 1996. We lived for four years in Columbia, SC where I attended Columbia Biblical Seminary and received my Master of Divinity. It was in Columbia that our daughters Hannah and Micaiah were born. Our family was added to in 2005 with our adoption of Zachary from Liberia. We completed our family in 2007 with the adoption of Emmett, Zachary’s older brother.

Our Lord firmly led us to Harvest Fellowship in the summer of 2011. We love ministering with the gospel, teaching God's Word, loving people, and being a fellow-part of the body of Harvest.

As Lead Pastor, I love to proclaim God’s truth especially in preaching/teaching. It's also my pleasure to be in charge of helping Harvesters develop and maintain our present vision - being on Gospel-Mission in our daily lives.

Jeff Korhorn- Discipleship Pastor

In 1987, while a teen, I accepted Jesus as my savior and my lord. Since then, a lot of wonderful things have happened. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute, married my beautiful wife Shellie, received my Masters of Ministries degree from Bethel College, and enjoy raising our four children (Ben, Micah, Abigail, and Ellie). Since 1992 I have been striving to help people come to know Jesus and grow in exalting Him.

Our family enjoys playing games, having company over, doing outdoor activities, playing sports and growing together. Our family motto, a modification of Ecclesiastes 11-12 is, "Have fun, stay young, be a Christian."

As a follower of Jesus, I am passionate to know and become just like Him. I also find a lot of joy in helping others grow through this struggle of life, as they slowly become more like Jesus. I enjoy coming alongside others in their journey, to encourage, challenge, and celebrate victories with them. So I invite you to come, follow Jesus with us.
