What to Expect

The atmosphere is warm, unimposing, and energetic. The people love Jesus, and are all growing in their faith. Come join us as you are and worship our great God with us. Dress casually or dress up, we do both. Expect someone to greet you at the door and help you get situated with childcare,  grab a cup of coffee or to just find a seat. If its your first time visiting us, please stop by the Welcome Center and enjoy a special gift from us. We sing both contemporary songs and hymns. We'll also hear a message from the scriptures that is geared toward your heart, mind and life. Childcare up to Pre-K is provided throughout the morning. Children's Church for up to 6th grade is available during the second sermon time. When it's all over, feel free to slip-out quietly or reach-out for friendship.

We have what we call a two-sermon format. The morning schedule goes this way:

9:15 - An opening time of praise followed by the sermon

10:10 - Fellowship Time for those staying and coming in

10:30 - Time of worship for the whole church body

10:50 - Update on what's going on for Harvest & prayer followed by a five minute fellowship break and the sermon

Philosophy of Worship

Our simplest definition of worship is this.

"Worshiping God is rightly responding to the truth that He has revealed about Himself."

Our Worship Service involves many opportunities to Worship God. We worship Him when we respond rightly in praising Him in word or song. We worship God as we greet one another during our time of fellowship before, during or after the service. We worship God when we sit under His Word and open our hearts and minds to grow in His truth.

We specifically have an extended time of response after the sermon each Sunday. This time exists to allow us to respond to God's truth with praise, to consider how God desires for us to respond, to pray in response, to seek out accountability, etc.

We believe that worshiping God should also take place outside of the church service, especially in responding to His truth in daily obedience, sharing our faith, and loving others sacrificially.
