Harvest's Children's Ministry is a warm atmosphere, here to help you as you raise your children to come to know and grow in Jesus. What is the most effective way to do this? We seek the best teachers, the best format, and the best training in order to foster an atmosphere of love, warmth, fun, and learning.
Here at Harvest, we want parents to be able to trust that their children are getting solid teaching under the authority of Scripture and are being kept safe so that the parents can enjoy a time for them to worship the Lord and grow in their faith.
Children's church is available for our young people up through 6th grade. Special Lessons are provided for children during the sermon.
Currently, the children are being taught from the Gospel Project curriculum from which they are learning about how the Gospel is the big picture of God's story.
Our teachers are followers of Jesus who are passionate for Him and passionate to pass the torch of faith to the next generation (2 Timothy 2:2; 3:16-17). The teaching team are in continuous training, are using their gifts (1 Cor. 12-13), have successfully filed background check forms, and are in full agreement to our doctrinal statement, vision, and values. We take extra steps to make sure your children receive strong teaching and are safe to enjoy that teaching. Because of this, we have extra security steps in place, such as a two adult rule and a tag system for the younger children.
