I grew up in Tennessee, and my beautiful best friend, Kelly, grew up in Wisconsin. Kelly and I met at Moody Bible Institute where I was a student, and we were married after graduating in 1996. We lived for four years in Columbia, SC where I attended Columbia Biblical Seminary and received my Master of Divinity.
It was in Columbia that our daughters Hannah and Micaiah were born. Our family was added to in 2005 with our adoption of Zachary from Liberia. We completed our family in 2007 with the adoption of Emmett, Zachary’s older brother. We have recently been double blessed with two amazing grandsons!
Our Lord firmly led us to Harvest Fellowship in the summer of 2011. We love ministering with the gospel, teaching God's Word, loving people, and being a fellow part of the body of Harvest.
I have a passion for leading men to be life-givers as husbands, fathers, ministry leaders, and church elders. I am continuing my education. earning a Doctorate of Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. The focus of my dissertation is on the development of qualified church elders through discipleship, ministry training, and healthy selection.
As Lead Pastor, I love to proclaim God’s truth, especially in preaching/teaching. It's also my pleasure to be in charge of helping Harvesters develop and maintain our present vision - keeping it about JESUS and us on HIS Gospel-Mission.
I was born and raised in Kokomo, IN. I graduated from Kokomo High School (where I was a Wildkat with a “k”) and then received a bachelor’s degree in computer graphics from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005 (where I was a Wildcat with a “c”).
My most important achievement from IWU was meeting my wife, Britney. We were married in 2007, and God has blessed us with five daughters – our oldest born in 2009, and our youngest in 2023.
Growing up in a Minister’s home, I always looked at my Dad as a hero. He stood up every week and boldly proclaimed the gospel of Christ, the most important message on earth. I learned to have a deep love and respect for those in vocational ministry, but never sensed a call to it myself.
That changed in the early 2020’s when more and more, my wife and I continued to see God’s truth being assaulted all around us. I found myself captivated by Paul’s admonition in scripture to a young pastor named Timothy to “wage the good warfare”.
Along with learning from my Dad, I have been blessed to be mentored extensively by Lead Pastor JD Bowman. This mentoring culminated in a pastoral internship at Harvest Fellowship in 2023, which then led to fully entering the ministry with Harvest Fellowship as Associate Pastor in January 2024.
My wife and I look forward to walking with Christ, as we encourage families to stand on God’s word and follow the Lordship of Jesus in every part of their lives, to the glory of God.
